17. Photo Upload Guide
Throughout your 75-day journey, we recommend you send us a weekly photo. Even if you prefer not to have your photo shared online, it is still important that you submit it so we can accurately track your progress.
There is a 2-day window to upload your photo: from Thursday morning when the link opens, until Friday at midnight.
Important
- Clean your lens with a cloth, not your finger.
- Use a plain background where possible.
- Stand facing forwards with your arms down – do not place your hands on your hips.
- Position the camera at chest level – do not look up or down at the camera.
- Use good lighting – ideally during the day near a window, with the light in front or to the side of you – never behind you. Outside is best.
- Never take a photo with a door or window behind you.
- Ensure there is space around your body – don’t crop your head or leave too much empty space around you.
Share on social media?
When uploading, you will see two options: Yes to Social Media (YSM) or No to Social Media (NSM).
- If you are happy for us to share your interim or final results, select YSM.
- If you prefer your photo to remain private, select NSM.
- You can change your choice at any point in the programme.
Rest assured, whether you choose YSM or NSM, your weekly photos are strictly confidential and fully GDPR-compliant.
Dropbox
A Dropbox link will be sent to you via email and posted in the group every Thursday. Follow the instructions below.
From your phone
- Click on the link in the email
- Click ‘Choose files’
- Select your saved photo from your ‘Photo library’
- Enter your first name and your surname
- Enter your email address
- Click ‘Upload’
- Finished!
From a desktop or laptop
- You will need to upload your photo and store on your PC/Mac/laptop
- Please rename the photo in the following example format ‘FULL NAME – Week 1’
- Click on the link in the email
- Click ‘Choose from computer’
- Find the folder/photo and click open
- Click ‘Upload’
- Finished!
